Past Designation

I started my career as employee when I was about to complete my study in UK and was offered job during finalizing my academic research at Plymouth University.  I was glad to have joined these business organizations where I had the opportunity to be trained, learnt, and had the experiences of business world during my early and beginning of career:

Hanseatic Shipping Co. Ltd

Oct 1989 to May 1990 |  Management Trainee & Deputy Head of Representative

Upon completion of my study in Plymouth (UK), I joined this Hanseatic Shipping Company (now as Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement) who then a leading shipmanagement services company based in Limassol (Cyprus). I had spent three months in Limassol (Cyprus) as management trainee and was trained in all divisions of a ship crewing business and then transferred to their Representative Office in Jakarta.

Buyers Consolidator Ltd (Sealand Logistics)

Jun 1990 - Dec 1994  |  Country Manager Indonesia

The second company I joined was Buyers Consolidators Ltd./ Sealand Logistics (Hong Kong) who then a pioneer and leading cargo consolidators / supply chain management (SCM) company from Asia.  At this company I had held a highest rank as country manager in Indonesia and I was fortunate to have the best mentor (my regional manager) who taught me a lot and allowed me to run the business independently.

PT. Ayarindo Trasnusa

Jan 1995 - May 1996  |  Founder & Director

My third company was PT. Ayarindo Transnusa who then an international freight forwarding/ cargo logistics management company with office in Jakarta.  This is the company that I was as co-owner.  It gave me a very valuable, expensive and eye-opener experienced on how hard it was, to establish and run a business from scratch on your own first time. From that point onward, lessons learnt and remembered.
